The {childfree} package for R

The {childfree} package for R imports demographic data from a variety of public data sources, extracting and harmonizing variables useful for the study of childfree individuals. Currently the package provides access to data from the MSU State of the State Survey (Michigan), the CDC National Survey of Family Growth (United States), and the USAID Demographic and Health Surveys Program (multiple developing countries).

From R, the package can be installed directly from CRAN using
install.packages("childfree"). A detailed description of package functions, with examples, is available in this vignette.
