TEACHING & MENTORING
I've taught many different courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. But, here are the syllabai for some of my favorites over the years. Please feel free to re-use or adapt these, and contact me if you have any questions about the materials, activities, or assignments.
I'm always open to working with new graduate and undergraduate students, including students from other disciplines and universities! If you are interested in working with me, please contact me and we'll find a time to talk. If you are interested in pursuing a PhD at MSU, my current appointment allows me to supervise graduate students pursuing a PhD in Social Psychology, and to serve on graduate committees in other departments.
I've had the pleasure of working with a ton of fantastic students who have since gone on to do some amazing things. It's hard to keep track of them all, but here are a few:
Dr. Charlie Collins, Assistant Professor, School of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences, University of Washington – Bothell
Dr. Mariah Kornbluh, Assistant Professor, Psychology Department, University of South Carolina
Dr. Jennifer Lawlor, Associate Researcher, Center for Community Health and Development, University of Kansas
Dr. Kristen Mills, Postdoctoral Scholar, Ohio State University
Xiaoqin Yan, Graduate Student, Sociology Department, North Carolina State University
